The sizzle in the Steak
This is the kind of car that GM should be making.
Outside of the GM box exteriors is fantastic.
The interior looks like an import and does not look cheap.
Make more cars like this GM and you will save yourself.

I wouldn't give GM america too much credit other than for bringing it here. GM europe came up with the design under Vauxhall VX Lightning. They did a decent job with the Solstice though.

Oh yea, can't forget the C6 Corvette
Anyways, I didn't get a chance to take pics of those cars because it's pointless but then I saw the Saturn Sky there! No tests but it's so nice. Here goes...

Great looking car, if I didn't need room and 4 doors or was looking for a second "fun" car this would probably be it. Exactly the direction GM needs to start taking with it's cars. They need a buzz which they have been lacking for years.

Also since the C6 and Z06 are GM products, that's also junk? What about the STS, CTS, XLR and V series cousins?

This color interior is very bland.
I like the red & black version.

I'm in the minority...I like the Pontiac's inside/outside more than the Saturn's. I do think the vents in the hood are cool. Not feeling the Mercury Mountaineer inspired frames around the taillights.

Car News briefs: GM confirms Solstice, Sky will get supercharged engine - - Source: Autoweek
Boosted roadsters
That a Vauxhall version of the Pontiac Solstice/Saturn Sky is in the works is nothing new. What is: We have confirmation of a supercharged high-output engine for the 2007 Vauxhall Lightning as well as Solstice and Sky.
Jon Lauckner, General Motors’ global product planning boss, says the Vauxhall two-seater will come to market with a 2.0-liter supercharged four-cylinder. The engine is expected to produce in excess of 200 hp and peak torque of 200 lb-ft, according to insiders. Look for the boosted engine in Solstice and Sky late next year.

that car will be a litle terror in the hands of tuners. The cobalt SS which has a similar blown motor, is a beast when modded, like the srt-4. And the ecotec has proven itself to handle a shit load of power on stock internals.
