Posting in this forum - Good Practice Rules

Folks,

If your thread is about a specific vehicle, it will be beneficial to search for it first. If you find references of it in other threads, please post your new post under that thread, but ALSO add your title as a "Post-subject" title (when you click "post reply" you will see it). Later I will change the main subject of that thread to your latest posted post-subject.

In other words, I would like to see a thread having the latest subject of a post that posts something new about the vehicle.

Example, the Mazda 3 Review thread:

http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...hreadid=119889

You will find several threads merged together in that one thread. But they all refer to the Mazda 3. When you visit it now, you can reference the everything we posted about the car back to 8/18 when we had SPY photos of it.

But also notice that the first thread's title was:

"mazda 3"

That though is NOT the main subject of the thread. The subject of the thread is:

"Mazda 3 Review"

which is the latest post posted about the Mazda 3.

If I miss changing a subject send me a PM or email.

Thanks,
Gabriel

i dunno if i like this new format of merging old threads. It gets annoying when u don't realize it's old at first. Then you have to scan for the new parts. I think you should let the old threads die and only merge threads that are very close in date.

New stuff is always at the end. Just click on the last page. Plus keeping an eye on the post-subject (not only on the thread subject) is just a matter of getting used to it. You'll see.
