The new Elantra, Sonata, and Azera have similar disjointed curves and swoops to the side and rear profiles, but don't hear anyone complaining about that. The Sonata itself has a really unrefined/bloated up front fascia. I would like to see Hyundai reduce that to look better like it does on the Elantra and Azera.
Which is why, for example, Hyundai toned down the grill on the Sonata for the MCE (the Tucson needs a grill reworking as well).
The Altima has that "wavy" side which is just bad; the previous gen Elantra had that as well and it was just awful.

Nissan has some good sports cars. Z's, GTR's, & 240's. G35C was nice. The problem is everything else they make looks old after 2 years

The only Juke I find "interesting" is the Juke R - http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...t-drive-review and only because it sounds like a crazy fun time to drive that thing with a GT-R motor in it.

It looks to carry the resemblance of the Maxima and 370Z.....and I'm fairly confident that it will look better than the upcoming 8.75G Accord.

Where are my other 11 peeps at?? Woop woooop!
About the Altima...almost every Altima I see on the road has a sagging rear end because of the shoddy rear OEM suspension. Altima owners use spring isolators or spring inserts to help raise the rear or swap out the springs altogether (here).
Hopefully Nissan addressed this in the 2013 model...we don't like saggy asses...

That is some serious stadium seating there. It looks far more promising than the outgoing model. Too bad its CVT will result in it not being a future replacement for my 12 Accord.

not bad at all! cvt though

yeah... looks huge. I still remember when the Altima was roughly the same size as a Civic, which itself is bigger than older Accords
#745
Goodbye.
Sad to see cars evolving to be so huge nowadays.....
only upside is that in the future when I buy my next car, at least I know that spending relatively cheap money on the lowest tier of cars will be big enough for me since they will probably be the size of full-size family sedans now.

Nicer than expected.
Interior is a fest.
CVT.....kills it.

Nice Interior, looks even higher quality than the current one.
The exterior does look like a love child between the current Maxima and current Altima. Definitely has some curvy cues to it, which is a good thing.
CVT is going to give it 27/38mpg supposedly so unless you like a race car, the CVT will do fine, supposedly it got refined again.

The more I see the redesigns of the midsize class (Altima, Camry, Passat, Malibu, Accord Coupe/Crosstour), the more I think Ford knocked it out of the park with the new Fusion...

Nissan's redesigned 2013 Altima sedan lets you fill your tires properly with neither guess nor gauge.
When the tire-pressure warning system alerts you to a low tire -- which it does by displaying the pressure and the relevant tire(s) instead of lighting a worthless warning bulb in the dashboard, as your cheaper car companies do -- you drop into the gas station and grab the air hose. As you fill the tire, the car's four-way flashers come on to confirm that air is going in.
When the tire's full, the horn chirps to let you know you're done.
Drive On anoints that the best automotive idea since brakes.
Altima goes on sale June 26, starting at $22,280 including shipping for the base four-cylinder, $24,880 for the 2.5 SV four-cylinder, which is expected to the most popular, and $28,830 for the base V-6, called SL.
Nissan expects the four-cylinder to get a government rating of 27 mpg in the city, 38 mpg on the highway and 31 in city/highway combined.
The V-6 already has its government rating: 22/31/25.
Nissan's Smyrna, Tenn., factory completes its so-called Job One later today -- the first showroom-ready car to come off the assembly line. Altima also will be built at Nissan's Canton, Miss., factory. The 2013 Altima Job One there comes later.
The Altima coupe that's based on the car being discontinued will carry over as a 2013 model unchanged. Nissan wouldn't give specifics about a coupe version of the new model.

Wow that's pretty smart. Since some of these gas stations have gauges that are wildly inaccurate or don't even work.
#758
The sizzle in the Steak
Pretty cool feature.
#759
I usually fill my stock tires 2 psi more than what the manufacturer recommends... and 4-5 psi more on my Hankook Ventus v12 Evo's since the tires feel too soft at recommended pressure. I always use my tire pressure gauge to get an accurate pressure reading.
Plus, I can use the gauge built into the air hose at the gas station to tell me whether air is going into the tire or not... even if it's not all that accurate.

^ I don't think it's made for you or anyone else who can think for themselves and know their way around a vehicle by the slightest bit. Think more like the clueless FOB mom, or helpless college kid or just 95% of the drivers on the road.
