The Next Step

I have owned a number BMW 5-series and Acura TL's and presently own a 04 TL. A wonderful machine that now requires the next logical evolutionary development > rear wheel or all wheel drive!

How can you be so sure? I am going to get a TL and have been waiting for the "kinks" to get worked out (ie - vibration issue). Was seriously thinking of getting the 1st of the '05s but if I am really confident that AWD is coming out then I will hold off.

Question Addtional Feedback

The next step for the superb Acura TL has to be rear or all wheel drive! I just wonder way where is so little reaction and feeback on this critical evolutionary issue?

Because in VERY large part, the Acura market is a FWD market.
If TSX and TL were RWD, they never would've seen me, nor a lot of the other people here. (AWD would be a different story of course.....)

I can see it happening in '05 or '06. Everyone is jumping on the AWD bandwagon. Infiniti G35x seems to be the latest.

and now the ford taurus replacement the "500" will even be offered AWD.

Acura should have been ahead of the curve, not behind.

The TL for sure could have used AWD with all that power, the car is pushing and a rolling. snow travel is horrible.

The TSX is much better ballanced, even if it is FWD.
