Buick's next sedan might be built on the CTS platform
"As we reported last month, GM brass is seriously considering producing a rear-drive sedan for Buick. While the final verdict is not in, this is what the car will look like if the plans go forward. Like the Cadillac STS that will be available as a 2005 model, the prestigious Buick will use a version of GM's Sigma chassis, currently what the smaller Cadillac CTS is built on. If Buick does get this new sedan, it may force the division to drop either the full-size Park Avenue or LeSabre. Look for the new Buick to offer a high-power V6 engine as standard rather than a V8."
