that sketch is beautiful.. i love that design.
i dont really see any s2k or tC resemblence at all. the lines remind me more of an aston martin than anything else..

the hood vent, shape of headlamp (not exactly the same, but close), hood lines, side door lines, the way the C-pillar and the roof curving down, fender bulges..
the front obviously doesnt mimic the grill or even close.. but everything else seems pretty similar to it.
if hyundai does go this route.. tibby might even look pretty damn exotic and interesting. definitly a better looker than the other cheaper looking front wheel, front engine sub 20K sport compacts..

i guess we won't see a fast hyundai until 2008?
if i was a hyundai, i would bring an all new 'sports-coupe', a Z and g35c competitor by 08.
and keep th e new tiburon under 20K to fight against TC's and etc.

Sonata Coupe? There are also rumors of a Nissan Altima coupe as well.
Good, because I'd like to see more choices other than the Solara, Accord, and G6.

If it stays the current size, it looks like it'll be a good Soltice/Miata competitor. If it grows a bit and has the RWD, it could compete with the Z (but I doubt the senario).
i see it happening maybe within 5 years. maybe not a 4 door luxo coupe, but a 2 door sports car.

i meant to say 2 seated sports car
a new tiburon- TC, civic and etc
sonata coupe- accord coupe, G6, solara, and etc
new 2 seated sports car- either miata or solstice fighter, or move up and compete with the Z.
this makes sense because hyundai really wants to be a complete car company. and i won't be surprised to see a hyundai truck within 5 years.

Doesn't appear to be much change.

It seems to be the same size and have the same proportions as the current one. Interesting, since rumors have run wild that the next gen may be a bit larger, or RWD, etc. If this is the next gen, and not a heavy refresh (which I don't think it is), then it's definitely an evolutionary design.

i think they'll do something to impress though. hyundai's been moving up and im sure they'll do something about their little sports coupe.
