National Post Review (Canada): Dare We Say Sexy?

Yet another positive TL impression. Here are some highlights:
"...the Acura/ELS would blow away even the phant-asmagorical Nakamichi and Mark Levinson sound systems Lexus bestows on its top-of-the-line LS sedans. I didn't believe them. I was wrong."
"...the TL is a healthier showing than Acura's more recent efforts."
"...the new TL's edgy styling that marks it as a standout from Acuras past. Somewhat reminiscent of a previous-generation BMW with maybe a little Mercedes mixed in, the TL manages to stand out visually where Acura's mandate has previously been to blend in."
"...270 hp is not to be sneezed at, especially since the new V6 is, if anything, smoother than the silky '03. It's also a little more pleasing to the ear. Here, once again, Acura is seemingly willing to forgo its natural conservatism in favour of something a little more exciting from the new TL's exhaust pipes."
"...an amazing amount of road holding without sacrificing suspension compliance. Some of its Japanese competitors still sticking with FWD could do worse than reverse-engineer the TL and figure out how Acura managed to almost eliminate body roll without incurring a bone-jarring ride. Except for the expected-for-a-front- driver understeer at the cornering limit, the TL could easily pass for something European."
"The standout feature, however, is the leather covering, which is a notch above previous hides offered by Acura. Sumptuous to sit in and soft to the touch, it's very luxurious indeed."
"...Acura sees the TL moving a little upmarket from the previous version. With charts showing the TL competing with the likes of Audi's A6, the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes' E-Class, one can't help but admire Acura's ambition."
"This is the best Acura since the last- generation Integra."

What a great review. I would have liked some feedback on the braking and steering of the TL however. If most of the reviews are even close to being this positive, Acura may have a serious shortage of TLs on its dealers' lots.
This review got me wanting to drive the car for myself. No other review so far has had that effect on me.

well guys this does it. I just priced the new 530i, a personal contender, and have decided that this new tl is the truth. As much as I enjoyed my current car I need more room......the tl A-spec is the ticket. I am currently wearing depends waiting for the first real driving impression from some one on this forum today.
530i w/ Prem package, sport package, audio package, xenons was $53+. So Acura here comes Chris!!!!

Whether you like it or not, the best cars acura has had were the legends and the integras.

You guys need to stop player hating on the Generation Three Integra. Remember, the third generation integra came out in 1994, and it has revolutionized the sport compact scene, for better or worse.
