From Supercars...
Quote:
At the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS), Mugen surprised everyone by unveiling this extreme NSX. Called the RR, it comes almost four years after production of the regular model was cancelled.
The biggest modification was made to body with new carbon fibre and aluminum panels that both widens and lengthens the standard NSX body. Attached to this is a new fixed rear wing, front splitter, rear diffuser and hood scoop.
As one would expect the powertrain and chassis were also upgraded but at the show the engine was not functional. Mugen said that the RR was strictly a showcar to celebrate their upcoming anniversary.

and I think Acura can still produce the last generation NSX as is and market it. It's just sick.

looks too tacky. All that stuff looks like an afterthought that was just added on. I know its functional, but damn, that car needs all new skin.
They should have built this HSC Concept, I swear, they could have pulled it off with minimal expense...

I Think it would be a good Idea to remarket the NSX with more horsepower. The TL has more horsepower than it now. It be nice for honda to still have a supercar. even if its not 500hp.

Quit dicking with the old car and get them to produce a new one my

Suzuka Master
first pics of the NSX are ugly I think. I dont like it at all. 2nd pic posted by rondog is the sex. Thats so nice

the mirrors and wing throw it off...everything else is tasteful for a show/track car...i wouldn't be caught dead with that on the street...and so it serves its purpose successfully as a show vehicle to make people stop and stay stupid things like...well...

and that concept rondog posted would have been better than no supercar as of now...but i really dont think it looks good at all! its an awkward design...but i guess if the performance was there...but no, acura leaves us with nothing...
anyway, i liked their front engine sports car design that was seen testing on tracks soooooo much better!!! but not sure that coulda been an NSX. they shoulda made both in 2 different ranges...
acura failed themselves and the world, but at least when they go out of business in 10 years, all of our cars will be even more rare...that is unless we haven't moved onto more promising brands by then!
