You have got to be kidding me?

The title of this forum is Automotive Discussion, not Acura discussion. There is a sub-forum related specifically to Acura news. Why don't you join that one and GTFO of this forum then you tool.

Oh and learn the difference between "why" and "what."

Dare I ask if you own an Acura? If not, what are you doing here?

^^ OK perhaps that anger was a teensy biased and possibly unwarranted. but when 90% of the threads on the page are non-acura, it's obvious.

Ive always loved sleeper wagons, and I think audis are the best-looking german cars. combine that with 700 hp, and you've got my dream car.

Don't be an idiot. This is Automotive News...if you want Acura-centric (i.e. models like TL, CL, etc.) stuff, there are specific forums for them. And yes, there are threads in here related to Acura as well, please take a moment to refer to the stickies.

Anyhow, back on topic, folks! Thanks!

^ doubt it. How many A6 wagons do you see rolling around, let alone S6 wagons? North America isn't really a fan of wagons. too bad.

From Motor Authority...

MTM is not known for its restraint - it is, after all, the same company that fitted two engines into an Audi TT to set a speed record at Nardo. Its engineers have now taken the tuner’s brand of high-power, no-holds-barred modification to the internal workings of the new Audi RS6 Avant, already one of the most powerful production cars on the planet, and managing to boost output to even more extreme highs.

The Audi RS6 comes from the factory with 580hp (432kW) and catapults from 0-100km/h in less than 5 seconds. MTM was dissatisfied with this figure and so decided to offer an upgrade package that lifts power to 702hp (523kW) - around 50hp (37kW) more than a Ferrari Enzo. Torque has also been lifted to a final figure of 579lb-ft (785Nm), brought about by increased boost pressure and less restrictive exhaust systems.

With the added power on board, the MTM Audi RS6 is now capable of reaching speeds in excess of 300km/h and accelerating from 0-100km/h in just over four seconds. MTM engineers predict the top speed could go even higher with the addition of new aerodynamic modifications but for now only a carbon diffuser has been fitted to the car.

Prices for the upgrade packages start at around €4,000 ($6,290), although for about €1,000 ($1,572) MTM will remove the car’s electronic limiter. In standard form, the RS6 will reach about 280km/h.

yea, but it's a shame that wagons aren't that popular here. it seemed like they were making a comeback a few years ago, but i guess people would rather buy CUVs instead. wagons are very functional, can be good on gas mileage, and if done right can look very good. like this one.

More info from Supercars...

The new Audi RS6 innately impresses discerning customers thanks to its high-powered twin turbo V10 engine with 5.0 l displacement. Only a short while after the car’s market launch, MTM, the Audi specialist from Wettstetten near Ingolstadt, Germany, already has performance kits in its program, which boost the performance of this super-fast station wagon.

For instance, the MTM engineers boost the engine power electronically to 656 bhp at 6,180 rpm. If need be, the MTM-RS6 R will run upon request (MTM regulates the increments electronically) at speeds of either 279, 290 or 310 km/h. The outstanding torque of now 785 Nm (production version 650 Nm) allows it to accelerate like lightning from zero to 100 km/h in an impressive 3.9 seconds. Price: € 3999.

An advanced version of the MTM performance kit is in preparation, which, with a massive 702 bhp, even outshines the performance data of most super sports cars. This additional boost in performance is made possible thanks to a stainless steel exhaust system with throttle control downstream from the catalytic converter and a sports air filter. The 702 bhp kit (plus MTM guarantee) is available for € 9950.

This super-fast behemoth is stopped with the aid of the six-piston braking system MTM fits at the front that features grooved (=not perforated all the way through) brake disks in the dimension 405x36 mm and monoblock brake calipers.

‘Reserved appearance obliges’: hence, the only embellishments MTM makes to the sporty design of the RS6 is to add a discreet carbon-fiber front spoiler lip and a carbon-fiber rear diffuser, which serve to accentuate the elegant styling of the Audi RS6.

The exclusive sports suite from MTM for the Audi RS6 is rounded off by the large 21" MTM bimoto wheel rims in 10.5 x 21", which are available in the finishes "shiny" or "diamond-cut", and which MTM also offers in conjunction with size 285/30ZR21 tires. As an alternative, MTM offers its bimoto wheel rim also as the new, forged 20 inch version. Fitting forged alloy wheels, which are lighter in weight compared with cast alloy wheels, enhances both the agility and braking performance of this powerful station wagon.

MTM offers this combination of a power-boosted engine, modified breathing, exhaust system, suspension struts and 21" wheels for a package price starting from € 15,500.
