Infiniti G35
Hot: Son of Z-Car V6 powertrain, son of Z-Car chassis balance and response, and a value for the dollar.
Not: Some interior plastic trim below par, brakes a bit grabby, and rear end design somewhat blocky.
Bottom Line: In its price bracket, the G35 is a benchmark among near luxury sport sedans.
Cadillac CTS
Hot: Crisp steering, comfortable euro sedan ride quality, and bank-vault like structural ingegrity.
Not: Tall narrow body proportions, jarring shapes and textrues on dash, and no manumatic for AT.
Bottom Line: Topnotch blend of superbdynamic and luxurious ride quality.
Acura TL
Hot: 270hp standard, XM standard, Italianite sheetmetal, and artful cabin design.
Not: Light, darty steering, torque steer, and long stopping distances.
Bottom Line: A super value, but front-wheel-drive compromises dynamic performance.
Saab 9-3 Aero
Hot: Coupelike design, solid body structure, and trim size.
Not: Turbo lag, nonlinear steering, and over-intrusive stability control.
Bottom Line: GM corporarte pltform with Saab overtones.

Thanks for writing this up. I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet, but I was curious to see the results. Acura would have had a real winner on their hands if only they used AWD.
