This website has a lot of answers to questions raised here and on other forums. It again mentions the A-Spec package, states that the moonroof is larger and features one-touch controls in the overhead console, and that the DVD-A system will not play DVD movies, mp3 or wma encoded discs. Check it out.
Also, looks like the foglights are built into the headlight housing! So no foglights on the lower lip
I kind of like the fogs on the lower valance of a car! I guess I will have to live with them where they put them

Note that the Edmunds Review said you can watch a DVD movie on the navigation screen while in park, the Press Release is talking about the sound system.
Noobie here, 1st time caller, long time listener...
After reading the drivetrain technical features, I noticed that the exhaust manifolds are cast in one piece with the heads and the 1st stage of catalytic converters is apparently integrated in the same assembly before a "2-1 pipe", which feeds into the secondary converter.
Question is this - would this configuration not prevent installation of aftermarket headers?
Also, it discusses the clutch design for the 6MT. Does anyone know if the shock isolator feature of the clutch was also used in the CL-S 6MT clutch? Seems like this would add some "sludginess", which I though buyers of 6MTs were trying to avoid.
Finally, looking at the interior pix, it appears (though I'm not sure) that the center console backlighting color may be based on the inetrior color. It appears that the ebony and quartz interiors have blue backlighting in the center console, while the parchment and camel may have more of a yellow/tan backlighting. Could just be poor quality of the pictures.

Anyone notice that there is a backup sensor available as an accessory? I've never seen this as a dealer add on like this. Maybe I'm just out of the loop...
One other thing. I also noticed that there is still only a passthrough in the rear seat. Why no fold down seats?

I'm really surprised about the number of add-ons available for the TL. I definitley plan on adding a few of them.
Well, I've learned some pretty scary stuff in the past couple of days...
According to the specs on Honda's website, the TL 6MT has a 60-0 stopping distance of 130ft. while the AT is 131. If the Brembos are only offering a 1 ft. advantage, I'm not that sure they're worth the extra $$. HPT makes things better, dropping the distance to 122 ft. Interestingly enough, though, the G35 only takes 110ft. with its stock tires.
Also, I went to Tirerack and read some very positive reviews on Turanza tires (the Turanza LS-Z, which I assumed would be the tires on the car). Unfortunately, I zoomed in on one of the newly-released gallery photos and found that the standard tires are the Turanza EL42. It seems like these tires are used on a whole host of vehicles (including the G35 and 7-series), but here is a link to the tirerack reviews:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....l=Turanza+EL42
http://www.tirerack.com/survey/Surve...ommentStatus=P
Since this model encompasses a wide variety of sizes, I'm not sure if this info is accurate, but I was surprised to see how markedly different these ratings were vs. the LS-Z tires.

In a comparison test one would still have to factor in the margin for error. A number of years ago Road and Track had an article where they computed how much variation was significant. Unfortunately I don't have that issue now...
BTW, I'm not sure if the Brembo's would help the stopping distance, since with ABS the limiting factor is probably the tires. But the Brembo's would hold up better under repeated braking.
A comparison test would certainly be interesting reading!
