I know at times, I, and others, have harped on how reliable Lexus is and so on, but I guess even they have issues:

I found some similar comments regarding the trannys on the ES sedans on the public posts on Edmunds and Yahoo's Auto site. People are having trouble getting some Lexus dealers to fix the problem as well.

I wonder if the RX uses the same transmission (It uses the ES chassis, no?)?

 

No car is perfect. No manufacturer is perfect.

 

But Lexus is still pretty high in the reliability category.

 

Quite true, and exactly my point. I think its easy to fall into "the grass is always greener" kind of thing.

 

I'm starting to miss sick at times like this.
