Uh... You can still get an LFA. They were never sold out and Lexus is still trying to get rid of them. www.lexus.com

So, its not as if they sitting around on dealer lots, either. They don't make them that quickly...and they are made to order. Trying to get rid of them

You're right they didn't sell out. I don't remember what I read then, maybe that all 150 in the US were spoken for.

mmmmmm....
They weren't spoken for anywhere. Not even in the Middle East. They had so many unsold units remaining overseas that they decided to just shift the remaining allocation to the US in addition to the original US allocation that still remains available. Of course they aren't sitting on dealer lots, production just started last month.

The two pieces of info I provided? lexus.com You can find it in their news releases. You can even find a little info about the increased US allocation on the LFA homepage in addition to the news releases.

If not, how about citing the exact points where they say sales orders are so bad they upped US allocation...

If that's what you want to believe to make yourself feel better, then so be it. The facts are that the US allocation has increased even though the maximum production number of 500 units has not. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out and it doesn't take a genius to find and read a news article on their own. I've done my hw. I'll wait for you to do yours.

Whether they might turn out to be true or not isnt the point. You're just assuming at this point...

Teaser Images Released
Lexus USA
TORRANCE, Calif. (April 5, 2011) – Lexus today announced that the LF-Gh hybrid concept will make its world debut at the 2011 New York International Auto Show.
The LF-Gh, which stands for Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid, sets out to redefine the premium grand touring sedan. Through this exercise, the definition of L-Finesse, the marque’s design philosophy since 2001, has been refined and evolved to include a bolder, more distinct projection of what a luxury car could become in a modern world. The result is the LF-Gh concept, which conveys original thoughts and ideas that may migrate to future Lexus vehicles on a global scale.
The new concept will be on display in the Lexus exhibit at the New York International Auto Show from April 20 – May 1, 2011.

Wow no need to take it so personally. Is your Xbox broken or something? Like I said, just move on. No need to continue the baiting and steer off topic.

USA 2day
From the looks of the few curves we can so far, it appears that Lexus designers are pouring some emotion into the hybrid concept that the brand has planned for the New York Auto Show.
Based on these details, we'll go ahead and predict that this 1, called the LF-Gh, is 1 of those concepts that Lexus plans to actually build as opposed to those intended as a design exercise just to get attention. Lexus says LF-Gh stands for Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid. Interesting to see how Lexus had yet another way to incorporate LED lights into the headlights in the photo at right.
In teasing its looks, Lexus says the goal is to try to make its roomy sedan "bolder, (a) more distinct projection of what a luxury car could become in a modern world. The result is the LF-Gh concept, which conveys original thoughts and ideas that may migrate to future Lexus vehicles on a global scale."
We'll all get to see the end result at the show, which the public can view from April 20 to May 1.

so there is no real firm documentation that this thing is going to be the GS, yet we still post it here in the GS thread?

lexus' F sport marketing campaign is a huge pain for owners and corporate to deal with the actual parts.
lexus corporate wants NOTHING to do with F sport. ive been on the phone with them about installing some F sport parts. corporate hates dealing with the warranty issues, and the fact that you are "customizing" their cars. its puts a huge dent on lexus corporate's ability to flip the cars as CPOs...on the other hard, dealers love it for the installation labor of F-Sport products.
one rep at lexus financial told me that he "wished F-Sport didnt exist"." haha. bunch of red tape to go through for warranty and resale value.
