View Poll Results: How should the gray lens, amber side marker blink?
Option 1 (Day and Night) Side Marker ONLY comes on with Blinker (blinks on and off with front blinker). Side markers do NOT come on with parking lights or headlights. This is same as on BMW/VW/Audi/European style/etc.

Option 2 (NIGHT ONLY, i.e. with lights on) Side Marker comes on with parking lights or headlights (like currently) HOWEVER, it turns off when front blinker light is on (creating a blinking effect opposite of the turn signal, like GM does with their side marker). This would ONLY work at NIGHT (or with parking/headlights on)!

Option 3 (Day or Night) Side marker blinks with lights off. Side marker with lights on is ON, but DIMMER than normal. When turn signal is on, and parking lights on, it gets brighter/dimmer back and forth giving appearance of flashing.

Option 4 (Day or Night) - Side Marker blinks with turn signal either with or without the parking/head lights on (when lights are on, the side marker would be on opposite the turn signal, like in option 2, except it would turn on also during the day.

Kit for Side Marker to Blink - Poll as to function
OK, I have been working on a way to make the gray lens, amber side marker blink with the turn signal, but need your input as to how it should work so I am establishing this poll as to its function.
While evaluating the amber side marker I have made some observations under sunny conditions, and therefore I ask that BEFORE voting, I highly recommend that you look at your car, in BOTH daylight (sun is out) and at night to see how the amber sidelight looks in both conditions. NOTE - Use remote to unlock car so you can see the side marker flash on and off, this is the easiest way! Also, look at it from a rear Ύ view like one would expect when a car was along side you.
The reason Acura may not have used it as a turn indicator may be as simple as it can NOT easily be seen (very faint) in sunlight! It may have been a liability issue, as other drivers would not have seen it.
Here are the options I need you to vote on and are in order of easiest to hardest to accomplish (please look at car in daylight and night first!!)
Based on a majority vote, I will develop a kit for the car (all options will require cutting at least 1 wire on each side).
All options are talking about the FRONT amber LED side marker with gray lens!

I assume in option 4, the side marker constantly on when the parking/headlights are on and then blinks when you use your turn signals. Is this correct? If so my vote is for option 4.
I do not think option 3 is good because a light flashing from dim to bright does not atttract as much attention as a light flashing off and on.

Thanks for voting, did you vote for Option3, but really wanted 4? I only see a vote for 3 and none for 4 yet?
Thanks!
