Interesting News on new G35
Wow I must say that with these new additions to the G35 sedan - it looks like a contender.
If I am not mistaken people usually get the cloth interior sedans for around 28.

I wanna see in a comparison test whether or not the TSX eats its lunch when it comes to handling though.

O.K..I really need to have my eyes sewn shut until I can afford my TSX. All this is just making second guess more and more. I really liked the old G35, but didn't like the tail lights. Now, they have been redesigned this year and I like them a lot! I can't take any more of this overload of great cars to choose from!!

my rep points are worth almost nothing, but rep point for ya!

Wow...the car looks more youthful now. I would drive it, I'm 25. Before I thought it looked too much like an old person's car. Now it looks much younger even though there aren't many changes to the look. Looks almost like a mercedes! If this was the 04 model, I would have definately considered it. Oh well, I still love my TSX. But that engine....dam!!!!

Nothing's changed for me since I drove it.
- Front still looks ugly
- Read still looks (slightly less) ugly
- Interior still looks like it's made for old people
- AT shifter still sucks
- I'm guessing it still drives with less "feel" than the TSX, because they don't mention any handling improvements and it's still a bigger car
- Still fairly more expensive than the TSX.

I still don't think it's as impressive as the TL's interior.

Outnumbered at home
Is a great car but I just don't think i could live with a bare bones model. Once you add in the 6mt and the premium package it is getting up there in price.

One more thing: no rear folding seats.

I like the original rear lenses better - the new ones look more generic and less distinctive. The build quality on a G35 is terrific, but I can't get past some of the ergonomics in the interior, although the use of better materials is a definite improvement. I would compare the G35 to a TL rather than a TSX though based on price.

Infiniti made too many damn improvements for 2005. It sucks, me being a 2004 g35 coupe owner. But they definetely improved the sedans looks. I used to think it was ugly, but now the 2005 model looks darn sexy. I'd drive it. They also changed the front bumper design as well as the hood. The car also comes stock with 19's! And 298 horsepower! Dammit...
Infiniti basically improved any criticism the g35 had and added even more. The main criticism was the cheap plastic titanium trim. Now, it has real aluminum with an optional real wood trim. The leather was also improved to be softer. All interior materials were improved. And to top that off, the price is almost the same with all these improvements! I'd kill for that keyless entry that comes with the premium package. Its like the new RL.

No more cloth seats avaialble - all 05s (actually all Infinitis) leather only. The 6MT base price is $30,450 +590 dest. The typical options would bring the price to around $35K.
