^ Rims + drop + kit + tint will definitely change the character of the car ... Look over at g35driver to see what 'chops are out there. Of course, you'll need $$$ to make it look really hawt but what else is new?

Now ... to get rid of that chrome thingy on the trunk ...

Just paint the chrome thing or maybe the dealer can paint it when you buy the G37. If Infiniti keeps this up maybe it can catch Lexus because right now Infiniti is beating Acura to a pulp right now.

I posted some more pics on G35Driver including some interior shots with the brown leather. Sorry, I'm a little too lazy at the moment to post them all up here.

Hey Garnet ...

I'm not too sure how the brown leather would work inside the G. I don't think the North Americans would appreciate that color. I don't think the rosewood / brown leather combo works ... but to each their own. They didn't change the interior color palette from the first gen G coupe, if I read correctly.

I'll admit the pics of the red one look better than other pics I've seen. I guess I just have to really have to see it in person.

Hey Derrick. I really like the brown leather, however I am not a fan of the contrast between the brown leather and the color of the dash. The M and the FX has the option for the Bourbon leather, however I have no idea if it's popular or not here in NA.

Yeah, you are correct about the interior color palette. The 08s will still have the choice of wheat, stone or graphite leather. IMO, wood doesn't belong on this car.

This is my opinion, but I'd take the new G37 over the older G35 coupe because one it has more hp, torque, most likely better gas mileage due to new VVEL technology, and it has a nicer classier interior. The front end doesn't look as aggressive though as the original G35c.

along with the improvements, it also gets heavier... from 3524 lbs to 3668 lbs for the 6mt coupe... That is gonna cut into the gas mileage.

do you think they will put the vvel technology in the G35 sedan too or until the sedan becomes the G37 sedan?

There will be no G37 Sedan, as far as the Infiniti Guy on G35Driver Said

For 08 maybe, but surely some time down the line. A company like Nissan will no way spend money on development of an engine and not whore it out to as many vehicles as possible.

This makes me wonder why Nissan has not applied this technology to its entire lineup, considering that they could really use an improvement in gas mileage figures across the board.

i dont think their engines are the problem. its the 5 speed auto they use. its geared for performance, 3k rpms at 70mph is unnecessary

well so far the only car that got remodeled is the G...i'm sure the next redesigns will have the 3.7...ie the patent M37, FX37 trademark

I really like the looks of it. I really think that regardless of all the haters on the forums, this car will sell more than the outgoing coupe.

it just needs a drop because the current coupe looks lower to the ground.

Maybe because the 1st gen is heavier than the upcoming model ... that's why the new model goes faster on the 0-60...
