From the side, it looks like a stretched Mercury Cougar. Typical.

Somebody tell them the rear tires are mounted backward.

I kind of like the redesign, although like others have said, it is getting a bit long in the tooth. I can't wait for a complete redesign... on a RWD platform. I would be allllll over that.

This reminds me of the 2003 Celica refresh. Looks better, but
then again, most cars look good in blue.

THE ENGINE IS THE SAME.

The front profile reminds me of the Cougar.
An old design that is getting the life squeezed out of it until the next gen.

These are the same guys who argue about what sedans look better, when most sedans look identical to me.

Yes, the Tiburon and the last-gen Cougar are both fastback coupes with hatches, but, that's the only thing I see that's similar.

the new one is awkward looking. Also there is a BMW wannabe accent on the front fender and BMW wannabe crease on the side, but I don't think it is working at all.

Didn't want to start this in a new thread cause I didn't think it was worth its own, but Peter Schreyer is going to be the new design director at Kia. For those who don't know, he's the one who designed the original Audi TT. Don't know if he'll have much influence with Hyundai, but we'll be seeing good stuff from the Korean brand hopefully.

ceed, and soul concept looked very promising. and hopefully he can make some changes.

i'm sick of them koreanizing every beautiful concept. they have absolutlely nothing to lose, so they need to stop playing safe.

it looks better in silver IMO. would've been a nice little thing if it had at least 250hp.

^ Looks pretty good. What HP does it get now? I think it'd be fun to drive @ 220-235HP.

The refresh makes it a little better looking, but I just still don't like the design.

From a front 3/4 view They look similar. And the headlights, no matter which way you slice it look the same. Look at the side shot front fenders foward.

Look at how busy the rear tail lights are. I guess Hyundai outsourced the parts from APC ...

Not bad. To say Hyundai has come a long way may be an understatement. This should be another good seller for them...

Looks good. Here's hoping they gave a little more space in the back...With the current gen. Tib, if you don't lower your head in the backseat when the hatch is coming down, you're in for a big-time headache.
