wow... I like it (the dual exhausts are nice)... they really aren't playing around. This car is going to be more of a viable alternative to the Camry/Accord/Altima than the current car.

It might be the new XG from looking at the steering wheel emblem which is covered with tape. It looks like it might outline that Hyundai - H. Well, does anybody else see that audi line in the profile. look at the greenhouse/upper portion. You'll notice the rear quarter panel window and rear window slope downward. It's remiscient of the A6.

Hyundai will replace XG350 in U.S. with more powerful TG sedan - - By PETER CHANG | Automotive News - - Source: Autoweek
SEOUL -- Hyundai Motor Co. will replace the XG350 sedan in the United States with the more powerful new TG mid-sized sedan, the company says.
The TG goes on sale in Korea in the first half of 2005 and will be in U.S. showrooms in the second half.
The TG's price has not been announced. The base price of the XG350 is $24,539, including destination. The TG will be sold in the United States with a 3.8-liter V-6 engine. The XG350 has a 3.5-liter V-6.
The TG will have 25 percent more horsepower than the XG350 and burn 5 percent less gasoline, the company says.
Hyundai is in the process of launching seven new or redesigned vehicles through the end of 2006, including the TG.
The 2005 Tucson SUV, launched in September, was the automaker's first new nameplate since 2000. Hyundai also plans to sell the TG in Europe with diesel and gasoline engines.

Cool. I guess it'll be placed above the Sonata go compete with the Avalon, Maxima. Buy why the "TG" name? I'm sick of alpha/numberic names go try to give the car a more luxurious feel. Give it a normal name, damnit. That said, I think this is going to be a good product for Hyundai.

Almost looks worse than Fords 500 to me. The 05 sonata was one thing, but copying that somewhat bland design will hurt sales for this one unless its over the top in power and features- new avalon.

What I am thinking is that hyundai is probably fevouresly working on a sporty line ala-AMG. That's what they need to do to gain even further respect. Can you imagine turbocharging the V6 on the Tiburon and adding the AWD from one of their SUVs in it? 300 HP running with the Evo and STi. Who'd be laughing then?
