Honda: Euro-Spec Civic news **Mugen Version Info and Pics (page 7)**
Honda Civic concept
While we’re still at least a year away from seeing an all-new Civic on our shores, Honda gave us a good look at what me might expect come 2006. The five-door design is wider and lower than the previous hatchback, and looks about a thousand times better, especially with its matching grille and taillight assemblies. The most exciting part: According to Honda President and CEO Takeo Fukui, this concept “is very close to the final styling.”

The sizzle in the Steak
It's not the greatest, but I give Honda alot of credit for giving the civic a more on the edge style. Honda Vanilla style looks to be on the way out.

i think the headlight across the rear and front is so backward and not forward thinking imo almost older saturnish.
might be the next civic hatch for america too...

Is it just me or is Honda over-doing it with the edgy styling......and the big flat body/door panels.... :shakehead
those headlight and taillight makes it look like a 2006 Honda's version of the Subaru SVX........
Overall shape is nice though... just don't like the detail and curves

Can't say it looks good, looks like honda tried to shrink an suv down into a compact but ended up with an egg shaped hatch. I liked the direction they were heading with this concept.

I like it. Looks kinda like a toy version of the Murano.
The front is so Acura and so is the tailpipes. I wouldn't be suprised if this comes to the US as some sort of RSX replacement.
WE NEED THE INTEGRA BACK!!!

6 Forward 1 Back
Damn, first people complain that Honda stylists are too bland now you complain when they try to go a different direction. I'll be a minority here and say I like it. It's only the concept. who knows how different the production version will be. The rear taillights alone look like a cover that comes off so I'm sure the production version will be more tame.

As far as the Si having 200hp, above the 3's 160hp, I don't think that will be long lasting with the mps 3 on the corner will all sorts of power options available from ford/volvo/&mazda.

Think we overlooked the Edmunds video on the civic during testing which gives a new perspective against the pics. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=106351

Official 5-Dorr Pics from vtec.net, including interior

I am really beginning to like this more and more I see it. That dash will probably be the same as the NA one...ours might be different with a nav obviously. I really like the interior. It looks like a spaceship or something and really futuristic. I think it might look better with a gray bottom part tho so theres not miles of black plastic, but oh well.
Oh and nice exhaust pipes too
