The Edmunds.com spy video showed the interior of the Si (all you could see though was the steering wheel and shifter). Fortunately, it did have the sporty 3 spoke steering wheel. I also think the interior would look much better if it were all black.

As gross looking as that steering wheel is, at least it has stereo controls on them. That's pretty classy for this car category (assuming Honda can keep prices below the 20K barrier). That close up pic of the taillights look like they're LEDs!

Honda should have used this rear end design on a higher end model, it looks pretty classy. It looks like the A4's rear, as some said, but also reminds me of the new 7 Series's rear end as well.

The Star Trek steering wheel is hideous. The new Civic will be a better car overall than the Mazda3, but I think most will agree the Mazda3 has a better interior, minus the goofy pop-up nav:

@ those hybrid rims. At least I hope those are the hybrid rims.
Where were those pics taken?
Not liking the front end either. The grill looks way too gappy on the sedan. But it looks like they nailed the rear end styling on the sedan.

Pics are from the preview parties http://www.civicparties.com/
I dunno without seeing some official pics, but the coupe is definatley looking better than the sedan right now. The front end does look gappy probably because it should have the clear lense across the whole front of the car like the euro hatch.
Think the interior without the nav looks like it flows better than the one with imo.

I am 90% sure that my next car will be a Civic Coupe or perhaps the CLX when it replaces the EL. I'll sit tight until the CRX comes out to drive it for comparison.

yeah, taking a look at that side profile shot, I seriously bet that if one were to slap a Lexus or BMW badge on it, people would be praising it. I really do like the look, conservative but not so much as to scare away edgy consumers. Good job, much better than I'm sure any of us thought it'd be judging by the other spy shots.

If thats what he meant, then it will on the upper tier, and it will be digital.

Its interesting that the rear lights are audi-ish, but then so are the style of door protectors, although it looks like honda did a better job integrating them into the design of the side body where audi just dropped them along the bottom of the doors...
Think this sedan pic is decent too, shows that everything does seem to work together if you take a step back.

No, I meant tach. I was looking at a int pic of the sedan which wasn't as clear.

I think this is the first great-looking Civic sedan in a LONG time, maybe even the best-looking sedan ever. I really have no complaints about any parts of it, the rear lights look great, the front lights look nice, quite futuristic, the lines are clean... Looks great to me.
The coupe, I'm not sure about the proportions of the rear, it looks like the butt slopes too much to the rear, kind of like the previous CL. That kind of design doesn't usually work.

Oh, and I second the best Civic sedan ever statement. It looks MUCH more upscale than the current sedan, or any Civic sedan of the past.
