Hands Free Link question for '04TL owners
I am using a Sony Ericsson T616 bluetooth phone with my new TL. I'd like to have a phone book entry for a voicemail system that includes a pause after connecting, an extension as well as a password.
The phonebook will take a long string (this one is 22 characters), including a pause command, but does not send out anything after connecting to the voicemail system.
Has anyone done this successfully? If so, any suggestions?
Thanks!

I have a similar situation so am curious as to the answer - will pick up my car in about 14 days - so if no answer by then I will post.
But I have another question as well. While you are in the car, can you dial a phone number from the phonebook of the phone (not the car) and have it come over the car sound system?

You can also initiate a call (from the TL's phonebook) through the HandsFreeLink system and still punch in numbers on your cell phone during the call. An example of when I use this is when accessing my company's voicemail system. There are lots of commands that I use when in voicemail (e.g., 3-3-7 to delete a message) that are much easier to punch in numbers on my handset, rather than "sending" numbers with my voice.
After working with my HandsFreeLink system more, I've narrowed the original problem down to the PAUSE command. While HandsFreeLink accepts when I tell it to store a number that contains pause (you know this because a voice reads back the number that you asked to store in the TL's phonebook), it is not sending out the proper Bluetooth signal to my phone (now a Siemens S56). You can check to see what the handset actually received by looking at its screen when dialing, and a PAUSE never shows up.
The long term fix to this is to be able to sync up the TL's phonebook with your handset's. This would make life much, much easier.
