Future of the CL

Is anyone else getting reports that Arcua is going to discontiune the CL line by 2005, Reports are saying as early as late summer early fall of 03'. Reason being lack of sales - basically it's all about the dollars, I guess compared to TL sales. If so what high-end coupe will replace this already a legend before it's time.

midnight pearl 03' type s with navi
sportshift
rear spoiler
comptech cold air icebox
black leather interior
moonroof
cargo rack
(trying to fit 19" RD sport - S5 wheels) lug pattern?

Friday night's on the strip chicks won't leave me alone

Does your name suggest that you have been living in a bubble this whole time???

The CL's are discontinued now, production halts completely sometime in the next 3 months.

Now whether the car will return in one year ala 2nd gen CL or at someother future time is totally unknown.

Period.

I don't think it will be back for at least one or two generations. (4+ years)

Acura said it has no plans to sell another sports coupe.

they are putting their efforts into the TL and TSX.
The new TL even looks like a bigger TSX.

Where did you hear that Acura has no plans for another sports coupe? How can they rely on the RSX (small) and NSX ($$$)? There is pretty big market out there for larger sports coupes even if sales are a lot lower than 4 doors. I bet that they are just taking a break until this horsepower war slows down and then they'll knock our socks off with a gret new CL.

CL

Sales of the CL have not been disappointing. Its actually the sales of the TSX that have not been up to par of expectations. Because the buyer of a TSX is most likely the same buyer of a CL...they are beefing up sales of the TSX by not offering the CL.

Also...don't forget the new Infiniti, and new Honda Accord, have been redesigned and redfined...while the 03 CL has been around for over a year now....February 2002 they debuted.

What the hell are you talking about, The TSX sold more then estimated its first month and there hasnt been enough time since its debut to say anything with the TSX has been disappointing.
