Considering the difference of a budget they are working on, of course its going to be different.
Do you think the ferrari designers would be able to come up with amazing design like 458 Italia if they had the same budget as NSX designers?
So for you to say that Acura designers can only wish to come up with something like 458, you are not considering the reality and the environment in which both company engineers and desginers are working on. Ferrari 458 is almost twice as expensive as NSX, therefore, the budget allowed for research, design and developing their cars would be so much higher than NSX.
Think before you speak, it shows your ignorance and level of cognitive ability...

So what your saying is some highskool grad with a pad of paper couldnt design something better because he doesnt get paid ???
Devil's advocate: well, I guess there are "top designers" who can command more money. So, maybe it can be bought. lol

Anyways 9000rpm on a turbo V8 is astonishing! That just shows the quality of the racing parts they used to put in the engine. I bet one valve spring is around $500-$800. (ferrari markup included.)
I noticed that it has three tailpipes. The middle one must be a direct dump from the wastegates. Super sweet!

Not sure where that pic is from but it's NA.

It certainly has more in common with superbikes than cars; at 127bhp per litre, the specific output is greater than that of many turbocharged engines.
The high-revving 4498cc V8 has very light internal parts and tiny piston skirts, resulting in low rotation inertia and a 12.5:1 compression ratio. It puts out 562bhp at 9000rpm, 500rpm higher than the 430. That makes it the highest-revving Ferrari road car ever.

They shouldn't make this car in anything other than Red or Black.
Enjoy it while it last folks. According to our resident automotive expert SSFTSX, Ferrari will soon be overtaken and put out of business by Audi, Lambo et all.

damn... this car is just beautiful, Ferrari never ceases to amaze me...
what they did with the 430 is offer the MT later on - initially it was only available with the F1. I would imagine that would be the same scenario with this one, I do think they will offer with the MT.
Ferrari = F1......so it's only natural for them to continue pumping F1 tech into their cars. I think the F1 gearbox will become/is the only tranny for Ferrari.
hmmm... looked around online for clues and didn't find anything pointing to a possible MT on this car - maybe we won't see one. kinda sad, there's something truly magical about having such beautiful horses at the complete and total control of your hand...

and ignore it.
