Dallas Woman Racks Up $76,039 in Tolls
Dallas Woman Racks Up $76,039 in Tolls - - Source: The Car Connection
A Dallas woman owes the state's North Texas Tollway Authority for some unfunded trips through toll booths - and we're not just talking spare change. The Associated Press reports that Evangelina Gonzalez has blasted through the booths without paying almost 3000 times since early 2004, and has amassed a toll-booth debt of $76,039 including administrative fees and fines. The 41-year-old has been booked on the misdemeanor warrants, but she might not be alone in court: the same toll authority says another driver owes more than $61,000 in tolls and fines.

That is the key with Dallas Toll violations. I have a Toll Tag. However, if you miss a quater toll, the fine and blah blah would easily be over $100 depending upon how long it takes NTTA to track you down, if your address on your DL is up to date, etc etc so they can mail you the ticket.
A lot of ppl do not even know about the fines until warrants are issued becuase their contact information is incorrect.

^^ Yes because I remember its not like my brother went through the toll that many times. I think it was something like after a certain amount when he wouldn't pay they charged him $50 or something.... I dont really remember exactly... years ago...
