Car Salesmen Rank Last in Trust

Car Salesmen Rank Last in Trust - - Source: The Car Connection

Car salesmen once again ranked at the bottom of people you trust in a new Gallup survey released on Tuesday. The annual study put nurses at the top of the list of those people we trust, with 79 percent of those surveyed giving nurses a very high or high rating of trustworthiness. Other professions that are thought to be honest and ethical include grade school teachers, pharmacists, and military officers, Gallup offers, while car salesmen score a mere nine percent on the trust scale, a point below advertising executives and below even reporters and auto mechanics. The survey, conducted by phone from November 19-21, interviewed 1015 adults.

my fav lines from the acura dealer include:

"some guy that owns an ///m3 came in to test drive the cl-s and couldnt even tell it was fwd it handled so well"

"the new nsx only weighs 2200 lbs"

"the 04tl will out handle the rwd g35"

"see what had happened was that we had a problem with the company that manufactures the transmissions for us, its not our fault"

Ford salesguy to me back in 1989:

"the Mustang GT is the fastest car on the streets. Nothing can beat it."

At a minimun, he apparently never heard of Corvettes.

The above needs to be spoken by someone who looks/sounds like Peter Griffin from Family Guy...that'd be perfect...
