Sprint and Verizon are gonna start wondering why they are losing customers..
I can see it now, Acura TL Selling like crazy and Sprint going out of business,

Yes, it is a smart phone, running Symbian 7.0 OS, so it should be able to view word/excel documents. Also, there is tons of software support for smartphones. There is a software that will allow your nokia camera phone function as a webcam, updating at a specified time interval.

I like the look of the P800 and the new Nokia looks very similar to the new Siemens SX1!
The New SX1 is the best!

All of the Bluetooth phones listed by Justin that work with the new TL are GSM.
Does anyone know of a Bluetooth TDMA phone or even better, a Bluetooth dual-band (TDMA/GSM) phone?
Seems like I've got to move to GSM to take advantage of the TL's Bluetooth capabilities.

VtecMW,
Sorry for being so thick, but I'm confused by your post.
AT&T uses GSM and TDMA. My current AT&T service is TDMA. I'm looking for a Bluetooth TDMA phone so that I don't have to change to GSM.
The Sony Ericsson T608 is a Bluetooth CDMA phone. How does that help me?
Thanks for your patience!

I also thought you were looking for a Bluetooth phone for the Sprint network.

2k4tl - I'm with you on AT&T service. You're on hold forever and no one helps, but they've sure gotten trained to be empathetic to your problems. Lots of "I'm sorrys" but light on the knowledgeable personnel.
How's GSM? Did you switch because you're getting a new TL and want Bluetooth?g

GSM is certainly better than either TDMA or CDMA, although it's not the night-and-day difference one might expect. At least it means you can use equipment with a decent global standard and product development investment. *DMA are a joke, imho.
Two comments on other issues raised in this thread:
- will you get bluetooth combined with TDMA and GSM on one phone?
not particularly likely. GSM/TDMA combo phones are rare and don't sell well.
- Nokia versus the others.
For years Nokia had the best UI/menus in the business. Motorola was at the other extreme (my particular favourite was that it took six key presses to read a text message you'd just received). However, in the last two years Nokia has focussed much more on the handsets, particularly on games and distinctive (read: weird) design. Meanwhile, most of the industry is focussing on cameras, whether anyone over the age of 15 (the target market) wants them or not. This means that previously marginal manufacturers like SonyEricsson are now in a much stronger position relative to the rest. Motorola has a lifeline here, as they have a lot of Bluetooth offerings, albeit still with a lousy UI.

Funny you should ask, but that's exactly what I did.

I got a nokia 3650 in anticipation of a new TL-- and the camera turns out to be an unexpected pleasure. I find I am using it all the time for spur of the moment snapshots that I would never have taken with a separate camera. I email these around to family from the phone.. its a real kick

Soopa any word on when the Sony Ericsson tested with the TL will be coming out? I have Sprint and in Dallas so far it has been the best carrier to be with, so I do not want to switch and I want blue tooth for when I get my TL in a year or so.
