so I am assuming that we will be able to buy A-Spec parts individually if we choose to do so. or do we have to buy the whole kit and caboodle?

I posted this message on a different TSX board and was told it was coming but it was going to be expensive.

I know everybody knows this, but I'll say it anyway

The stock TSX outhandles almost all cars in its class (look at the skidpad numbers). I know, I know, at the limits the torque steer from the front drive setup is a bother, but let's table that discussion.

Why would anybody spend $3,000 primarily on accessories to improve handling when this car really needs more go-fast parts?

It must be the special A-spec steering wheel and badges.

My question would be if the cost is over $3,000, then why not go for the TL, which will be about 2-3K extra. The TL is alot more care for the extra $$$$.

A Spec will not give you a better engine for $3000.

I just want the A-spec bumper now that I realize it is the same as the Modulo Voltage Bumper OEM suspension components would also be very nice.

A-spec package TSX's will be in showrooms later this Spring. They are already on order at some dealerships. Mine has 3 on order now. Looks to be the same deal as the RSX and TL. All looks and handling.... no power mods.

Will it be possible to buy the A-spec kit as an aftermarket option? How about pieces of the kit if some parts are ugly or whatever?

From what my dealer said, you can add "A-Spec" later - it's added at the dealership. I don't think Acura will produce A-Spec's off the factory line.

I'm hoping I'll be able to pick and choose the A-Spec parts. Chances are I won't want the steering wheel and some of the other interior crap.

Hmmm.. do u guys think I should wait until the 2005's are available to buy the TSX's? or will there be no major difference?

And if any difference, what do u guys think it will be?

Thanks

The 2005 will be a turbocharged V8 AWD platform so it's probably worthwhile waiting.

I like the A-spec look. It's not like "OH MY GAWD, FRIED RICES!!!!!!!" but the look is a little sportier than stock. I also like that you have a sportier look without sacrificing the everyday drivability like you would dropping down the car until the kit is less than an inch off the car. I'm a bad enough driver as it is, I'm afraid I'd bottom out the factory kit with frRICEning regularity, much less anything less than 6" off the ground.

Not to mention you get that look and improved handeling all keeping 100% of the factory warranty.

LOL that thread was a lot of fun JiggaMan! I should have photoshoped them on to see what the damage would be. Maybe we should have a ghetto TSX photoshop competition.
