'04 TL will be on TV show "Motor Week" Sept 13

The PBS show "Motorweek" will include a segment on the '04 TL on Sept 13 (next Saturday). The program is broadcast at 5PM on Maryland Public Television in the DC/Baltimore area. Check your local schedules for other cities.

Thanks for the info. MPT is kind of strange with Motorweek broadcasting. I remember trying to catch the TSX review on there a while ago. It skipped an episode or something, because I only saw the cars scheduled for the following week.

Oh well, I'll keep a close eye on it this time.

Sweet. I have been waiting for that episode. I heard Autoweek may have a blurb this week.

ReplayTV is fired up and ready!

Great Info! Time to TIVO MotorWeek! Thanks for the tip.

It's also on Direct TV - PBS Sept 13 16:00, and on other channels as well so check your local listing for more info.

Since the TL is scheduled to be on TV today I thought I'd bump this reminder to the top of the list. This will be the first time that 99% of us see the TL in motion both on curves and in coming to a quick stop. It's also interesting to see how a 6 foot person fits in the rear seat. You never know they might even slip a DVD into the trunk mounted DVD player

For some reason I can't find MotorWeek being aired at all this weekend. I have Dish Network w/ local channels. It's not listed on my local PBS, my PBS-U or the Speed Channel which also plays MotorWeek.

Let's hope that they don't do some sort of lame auto news update and talk about the TL with a still picture. I'd be pissed! I'm sure a clip of the episode will be posted on the Web.

That's a point. After all they're not doing a "Road Test" of the vehicle but I'm still betting on a 30 second video. We'll see in a few hours.

Very nice review. The car looks even better after seeing it in motion. Okay, I'm going to edit my video cap and see if I can post it on the Web.

Stay tuned!

I saw it too, looks very good in motion, but it was essentially a walk-around with video from the pictures we've seen.

edit: I also have it captured. If VtecMW doesn't get to it, I can upload the clip.

Interesting how the interior of the car as shown was a 6MT paired with ebony and the NAV screen. That would be the image one would seek to project for the thirty something male seeking power, prestige, and control. At 53 I'm into the 5AT with Quartz and no NAV. That breaks down into convenience, thrift, and lots of reflected light.

Yeah, I noticed that. I simply ignored it, though, because Acura hasn't said anything yet. If it starts at $33k, I'd be placing a deposit the next day.

justin, by when can we expect to see brochures in the dealerships? How about the mail, for those of us who submitted on the mini-site?

Yeah, when should we receive brochures if we requested thru mini-site? It said that we would be one of the first ones to receive it.
