04 LS 430, 0-60 in 5.9, why do they even make the Q45??
The new 6-speed accelerates the 290hp LS 430 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. The exterior was freshened. 18" wheels are an option. The 340hp Q45 can't get to 0-60 in under 6 seconds if you pushed it over Mt. Kilimanjaro with 6 Polar Bears inside with a gravitational pull of a Black Hole.

Well I would rather purschase a Q45. The LS still looks too bland and old personish.
My number 1 choice would be a Deville actually. I used the money I saved and put it into a bangin system.

With the new ECU upgrade and the new gearing the Q45 can consistently get under 6 in the 0-60.
I absolutely HATE the LS430. I don't like the Q45 either, but I'd take it over the LS any day.

Why would some 30-40 year old buy an IS with its shitty weak motor, and gay ass clear taillights, trying to look like hes 19 when he could by a classy car that is fast and hadles just as well with the G35?
I don't think people in the LS/Q market want speed....

No. The M does not compete with the LS. The M competes with the GS cars.

why would someone review the 04q45 when it only had minor changes, few more standard items, new gearing, new color. bout as as excting as reviewing the ls430 for acceleration numbers when the driver is completely isolated from any driving experience or road feel to begin with.

luxury, power, handling, Amazing brakes, high quality everything, impeccable fit and finish, and the driving experience make these cars extraordinary.
i am not saying it is the best car company or anything, but they simply rock! i must admit that acura is catching up in some of those areas as well, and infiniti in other areas too. neither have achieved IMO what lexus has and will continue to.
mercedez is losing its quality every year and its cars show. ive been in a new s500 and my friends 93 s400 was just as comfortable and quality was the same or better. so how exactly is lexus following mercedez?

The 1st gen Q45 is a favorite of mine, I've taken the Q45 out at lest 3 times, once with 5 friends and we could not justify buying it over a GS or 5 let alone a LS.
