Im thinking of purchasing an XM radio for my new 04 TSX. The dealer price was over a $1000. I dont want to spend that much money on my radio.

I did go to the car audio store last night and the sales person told me they can install an XM radio using the FM modulator. But the sound quality would be as good as my best fm station. I wasnt too happy about that. I really want to install an XM radio using RCAs or some other type of digital input. Also want to see if I can mount the XM radio in the lower portion of the dash w/o removing the gate, (so i can close it when im not using the radio). Has anyone had any luck w. installing a non factory XM radio, probably using the auxilery input from the stock radio?
