I installed mine in my car about a month ago. I am using the Sony Ericcson HCB-30. Put the mic up along the top of the windshield, the control by the sunroof control, and the box underneath the dash. Wired the kit into the harness that runs up to the ignition. I also have the Music mute kit that is works with the HCB-30 but I haven't been able to install it yet. Instead I put the speaker that comes with the kit into the "not an ashtray." It is a perfect fit and looks like it really belongs there.

ok...sorry to bring up an older thread but can you install the motorolla bluetooth kit through the AUX option on our stereos and let the sound go through the car stereo speakers? please anyone give some input. i dont want to use the aftermarket speaker, just use our stock speakers.

As long as you have an output that's active when the HF kit is on you can "hijack" one of the speakers with some relays.

BTW, Bluetooth is a standard, like USB - ANY HF kit should work with ANY BT phone. Like USB, I'm sure some of the early ones aren't universal, but please note that you SHOULD be able to buy an HCB 30 and make it work.

Also, please, everyone that has/is considering BT: read up on the technology and ensure that you secure your mobile device(s) as best as possible. Note that some older Nokia phones had a security problem such that they could be hacked over BT - not sure if this flaw extends to other phones as I never read more on it because I don't own any BT devices yet.

I googled and found this: http://www.thebunker.net/release-bluestumbler.htm
