You talking about fiberglass alternative? Its made with a polyester resin & glass flakes or vinyl ester resing & glass flakes.

Just google:
1. Polyester resin
2. Vinyl ester resin
3. Glass flakes

just try a local automotive store, or a local paint supplier. I know I've seen them down there but I haven't been down there since 2003.

Are you doing body work? Duraglass is a "Bondo" paste alternative. Any auto body supply shop should have it. Walmart might even have it. And why would it be an eldude question? Is he an auto body repair person now? Maybe that's where he's been?

yeah you can get Duraglass at Discount Auto parts ... Its not really a fiberglass fiberglass alternative Its pretty much just a bondo mixed with chop mat. Its good to use when you need to fill something a little to thick for bondo helpful stuff....

Ummm I don’t mean to chime in on a negative note... but Duraglass is BONDO its simply mixed with a very short strand chop matt...yes i know bondo is simpley poly resin mixed with talc so you may make the argument that its just like fiberglass well 80% of the streth of fiberglass comes from the matt not the resin and the small amount of small chop matt is not going to give you that strenth you should have. While I agree it is less prone to shrinking and stronger then just bondo its still not meant to be structural... its something you use to fill a small dip in your box or something along those lines but as far as actually being structial you would be better off using concrete.. Otherwise I would really recommend getting a gallon of resin a yard or so of matt and going at it...
