Hello everyone. I am about to begin my install and have decided to make my own 'mercman' style harness. But I have a question about the cable that I should use.

mercman recommended using shielded twisted pair cables to go from the harness to the balanced differential amp inputs. But I have access to free stainless steel shielded non-twisted 4 conductor cable. I assume that this will work but wanted to get some opinions before I tried it and found out otherwise.

The idea is to get two length of this cable and use them to send the 4 channel signals to the amps.

What do you guys think?
