Are the MB Quarts any good???
My advice is to go to a shop that carries them and listen to them for yourself. Everyone on this board will have a different opinion on what speakers sound good and what doesn't. Honestly your own opinion counts the most cuz you'll be listening to em the most.
Yee is probably correct about the metal cutting into the doors. I had to cut the metal (i have boston pro 6.5).
Note: I heard Focals drop nicely once you make a spacer, but I dunno if that's true. You can open your door, measure it and find out. Good luck on your speakers!

DSD's are definitely bang for the buck...
at that price it's hard to find something that can match it sound..
I have them, they are MUCH better than stock.
however, if you've catchy ears and are willing to spend more...I too would advise you seek more

Sniper,
IMO...MB Quarts are not good due to a resonance problem in the tweeter. It is pretty severe and will RIP your head off on some songs.
The only metal dome tweets I can suggest is Boston Pro. Otherwise go with silks like CD techs or Dynaudio, Vifa, Scanspeaks, etc....
