Hi I am considering doing a group buy with my friend on some subs and an amp. He said he would help me set them up, since I don't know anything about it. Would the following work in an 03 tl?
2 alpine swr-1041d type R subs
and a mrd-m500 mono amp

Also will the stock cd player work with this setup? Do I need a converter?

subs and amps are pretty much uniuversal...not designed for any specific car and will work in any...you can tap the factory amp for the subwoofer signal...and run a power wire fro mthe battery

 

Where is the factory amp... and How would you connect an other amplifier to the stock deck?
