That's funny, my remote looks exactly like that one pictured above. It's for the TL-S.

If you look closely, it's actually different from the TL-S ones (at least it's different from mine).

The comments on my key fob has 3 sections (vs 2 sections as shown on the picture):
1. Push (unlock) and (lock) at the same time to link/unlink memory seat
2. FCC:...
Canada: ...
3. Memory seat #

So I'm not sure which model that key fob is for.

looks just like my mom's MDX one.

 

It says right in the picture that the fob is for the 1.7 EL. Thats the model from Acura that is built and sold solely in Canada.

I tried to ask the dealer to program a 3rd frob for me but it doesnt work cuz 02 TLs come with memory seats and it can only be hooked up to 2 remotes =*(

thats a bummer... but oh well.. and yes the thing looks tite, with all the colors and logo and shit but it scratches SOOOO easily... i'm so tempted to wrap it in saran wrap HAHAHA
