The Bose radio on my TL does the craziest thing. Every so often the volume will shoot all the way up for a split second (scaring the wits out of me) and then going right back to normal. It begins with the sound you would hear when there is a short in a speaker and then it takes off.

Dealer has no idea because short of driving the car for a few days they will never duplicate the problem.

Any ideas?
