Why won't cdr work on my 99 TL? Any solution??

Hey,
Just wondering if anyone else out there having the same problem I'm having with using cdr in my car. I have to wait for like an eternity for the cdr to load up and music come on in my car. Is anyone out there experiencing this problem? Is so, do you have a solution? Please help...:wow:

Do a search...search is your friend. This horse has been beaten many times in the past.
Hopefully someone has posted in the past the solutions as to which CDR to use at what burn speed etc...

I installed a Sony MP3 10-disc changer to get around that problem...

just give up and replace the head unit, or get a changer for the trunk. Some people on here have had luck getting the dealer to replace it under warranty, but my dealer just said "thats how its supposed to work" (thank you, pasadena acura!).

If you burn your CDRs at speeds higher than 8x, some car CD decks MAY not read it. I always burned my CDRs at 2x and the integrity of the tracks seem consistent as original. I know 'coz ones that my friend burned for me at 12x and 16x "stutters" and yes sometimes the deck can't read the disc at all. Never had any problems with 2x burns and used them on a 3rd Acura now.

well damn thats weird badazz. i use verbatim 24x Certified cd-r and works fine. but i realized when i purchased the 32X and 48X cd-r it never worked no matter how slow i burned it. i think the system only can only old cd-r that is only 24x certified at the max. cause i have old cd-r back in the days and it was 12X certified only and every single of them works, because i think they are old.
