Where and How to mount Xplod AMP
Ok i just got a 10" xplod sub and the xplod amp 760watt max. Anyways they installed them amp by screwing it onto the floor in the trunk. I have seen how some of you guys have mounted your amps on the drivers side wall of the trunk. Can anyone instruct me on how to do this? I am pretty literate with these things, i just wanted to know if any of you have suggestions on how and where to mount it.
Thanks

If you want to mount it in the sidewall, just make a right angle plate out of 3/4" MDF or particle board, cover it with carpet, and mount the amp to it. Then take 1/4" plywood or even thick cardboard and make a cover around the edges of the amp so it looks flush and MOLD it so to speak into the corner of the trunk. If you want it IN the floor, you need to make a new floor with the cut out of the exact shape of the amp and mount it from underneath.
