Where to buy spacers?

First of all, you guys are all GREAT!! I've been lurking around here for a couple of months, and every question I ever had was already answered. I've been wanting to tear out the bose for almost three years and finally did it! I put in quarts in the front, with a RF 700x amp, 2 infinity perfect 12" in a sealed box in the back with another 700x for them. Even with the stock HU, the system sounds awesome! So thanks!

By the way, I had to dremel the sh#t out of my tweeters and the stock space to get them to fit, but it eventually happened. I think when I sell, I'm going to have to leave it all in there, and just power the speakers off the stock amp, and hope nobody asks too many questions. Anyways....

OK, my question is where can I get spacers for my quart 6x9's in the back? I've seen the scosche ones around, but they are 1" spacers, and I'm pretty sure that I don't need that much room, and I'm afraid the stock grills won't fit if I use them. I think someone said they used 1/2" spacers in the back with the quart discus 6x9's and that worked well for them. Any help would be most appreciated!

I've had trouble finding these online too... I bought the spacers for my separates in the front from my local Best Buy.

If you call your local store and ask for the car stereo installation dept whoever answers would hopefully be able to tell you if they have what you are looking for.

Which model of MB Quart 6x9 are you gonna install?

I'm trying to install the discus 6x9's. I can't remember the model number.
I went to CC, all they had were these huge 1 or 1 1/2" spacers, and the guy at BB said they didn't have 6x9 spacers at all.

OK, I spent way too much time at work today looking for these spacers online and I have concluded that they don't exist. So a new question:

What are the biggest spacers you guys have used that still allow the stock grill to fit? And I am perfectly willing to dremel the sh#$%t out of the grill as long as it looks all pretty on the outside

cheers,
UB

I used the scosche but used them backwards. I had to dremel the plastic base and the grill I left alone. It raised the rear deck a little and it isn't a tight as it was before, but looks stock. It took awhile to position everything. Just do it when the weather is cool and take your time. It can get hot in the back seat quick.
