while either of these places will be able to sell you a cheap box, a box that is designed for your subs will work better... I'd build my own, but that's just me. if you're going to buy a box, make sure that the box you're looking at has enough airspace and port area for your subs... if you don't have enough volume, you might as well seal up your subs, and if you don't have enough port area, it'll whistle at certain frequencies...
I'd just build my own...

^ I would, but i don't know crap about making a box though, and have zeros tools for box making. I think it's just more cost efficient for me to buy one.

really, the only thing you need to build a box is some wood glue and some clamps... there are programs/people that can design the box, then you go to home depot/lowes with a cut-sheet and get the wood cut. then you just put the puzzle together... then you have a box that's designed for your subs, and should net the best possible result. i had the box that i'm planning on building designed for one sub, then had to re-design it when i changed the sub that i'm going to use... it really isn't all that hard once you understand the idea behind it... i could probably help you out, if you're interested...

I second the idea of building your own custom box tuned to the specs of your subs.
A good system is 70% install, 30% equipment.
I also vouch for fishercustoms, great guy, he actually tuned my box for me (for a few bucks). The enclosures he makes are top notch, and he does not overcharge at all. I believe there was a spreadsheet made by him -- including the cost of shipping, he only makes about 25-50$ per box.. which isn't much considering he has to design each box individually, not to mention the time and work put in to make it. If there are special requests such as logos etc, that is all extra costs. He has done some amazing work though -- I use to be a regular on caraudio.com, and he posts every box build up.
Although I'm sure with the vast amount of enclosures he has built, his reproduction efficiency is above others, and would only take him maybe 30 minutes to build as opposed to a woodworking novice who'd take maybe 2-3 hours (such as myself)
Uncald's enclosures, although they do look top notch, they seem to be limited to a sealed application. It looks great if you need to savior the trunk space though.

a good setup is
5% equipment
80% install
5% beer
the box/install will make a world of difference. Get a custom one made if you dont want to make it yourself. And if you can get it ported

do you have a friend who can make you one?
i had my subs in a generic box and it sounded ok. my friend then offered to make me a box. he took the specs of my subs and the recommended volume, port size etc from Rockford's website and made them. they sounded a million times better than the generic box

i went from a generic box w/2 12w6s to a custom box w/1 12w6 and it hit harder and sounded better.
currently i am waiting on a custom uncald4 enclosure for a 13in 33v2![Excited](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/excited.gif)
dont go generic.
btw uncald4 can do a dual sub enclosure. he just makes his famous corner enclosure on both sides. it looks sick and if you dont care about trunk space, feel free to use the rest of it for a clean amp install
