I just got a 97 CL like two days ago. Well when I hit the keyless entry button the looks open (or close depending on what I press) but there isn't that familar "eewwpp eewwpp" sound. Also I don't think the alarm works. Could it be that some wire is not connected or do you suspect that it's more serious then that?

 

I think you posted this in the first gen forum also...but anyways...you must of turned off the beeping...to set the beep back on...just hold down the trunk button then the lock button at the same time until it blinks on the keyless thingy...then try it out..if it doesn't work the first time then try it again..
