What to use for remote lead?

So on my Basslink, I used the factory WHITE/YEL (Constant Power) for the remote lead, but I don't think this is right. It Basslink stays on all the time- but makes sense with the whole 'constant' power and all. I didn't know what else to use for remote at the time. I didn't see a factory remote lead in SilverKnight's/Shawn's wiring code.

There should be a YEL/WHT wire that is the turn on lead for the factory amp you can tap...

Looks like you may have tapped the inverse color scheme...

I tried the YEL/WHT, and it didn't even turn on the amp. Also, the YEL/WHT is supposed to be the Radio Switch, isn't it?

YEL/WHT is the wire I used for my turn on lead...

It should work.

Are you tapping this wire in the trunk or somewhere else?

WTF? I know I tried tapping into this wire and it didn't work. Damn. I guess I'll just try it again.

Hey, what about the WHT/RED (ACC) per http://acuracl.dyndns.org/monkeymato/audio3.jpg ?

If you're tapping the connection to the back of the deck, that red/wht wire should work.

Do you say you were tapping the wire in the trunk or in the dash?

In the trunk. I don't remember seeing the whit/red wire, but maybe that's because it's only in the front.

I'll try the yellow/white wire again this weekend.

The YEL/WHT is the proper lead for remote turn-on of your amps. I tapped into mine behind the HU and ran a lead which allows for the proper turn-on of my EQ and my JL Amps.
