I am looking to replace my speakers in my 03 acura tl and was thinking shot replacing my front 6.5s with type r 2 ways as well as the 6by9s but use alpine type-a 2ways in the back. What are it thoughts on this setup and what do u guys think is the best speaker setup to go with---on somewhat I have a 15" type r sub now a budget.

 

go to an audio store, listen to speakers, decide.
cuz everyone hears differently so you want speakers that sound good to you, i didn't do this and got some Boston Acoustics SL series speakers, but i always wonder if other speakers would sound better

i had Focal speakers in my TSX both front and rear, awsome speakers.

 

i love my 6x9 pioneers.

 

i have mb quarts pretty clear if your running with a good deck

 

I'd suggest ditching the rears and put that extra money towards better comps up front.

 

Yea 2nd gen TL's are 6.5 all around but some might need some modification.

MB quartz i heard those are real good i know a guy that just put some in his charger yesterday
