just curious...what are like the most expensive; best sounding amps i could possibly purchase

Soundstream, Zapco, A/D/S (the older ones atleast, i don't know about the new ones), McIntosh, Phoenix Gold (I haven't heard these, but they get a lot of love in comp. cars), PPI

what about Xtant or Diamond Audio? Soundstream didn't even have a booth at CES last year. It seems like he wants to know what is the best now not ten years ago.

I knew there were a few I was forgetting, as for soundstream, i am willing to bet that if you could get your hands on a davinci or tarantula amp you would (figuritively speaking)
