What's your budget? For both the amp and the battery...

that's a 1500w sub and your amp supplies 1400 @ 1 ohm.

You're good as far as power..your box is probably the culprit.

1500w

even if it were 2500w, you'd still be good as far as power goes.

U need a proper box. Just cuz u have one that is suppose to be made for it most likely it's a prefab. Get a good builder to make u one. Then u will notice major output

the box is made for 2000 watts? who built the box? and do you know if they built it to the Theile of the sub? or just a estimate and through in a slot. what gauge wire are you running to the massive amp?
if you want good power with a lil headroom, and dont mind spending money, this would be a nice one.

this for your battery or look for a xspower equivalent

hope you are running the proper wire tho if you are upgrading for more power

so you have it split going to a amp and battery? you should have the main going strait to the battery then feed the amp off the battery.

I think what hes saying is you have to build it to spec, or what is optimal for your application( spl, daily).

That amp only requires 12v to run the 2200v I need for the sub

Your electrical system wont keep up. If youre reading the specs that means at 12 volts it will put out 2200 watts. I dont know the amperage draw on that amp but im guessing its quiet a bit. I have an AQ 3500d with an upgraded alt, XS d975, d2700, and just a regular deep cycle up front. My voltage would dip down into the 12s, dropping from 14.x.

Im gonna say youll need an upgraded alt, and at least a second battery, along with 0 gauge and your big three. Do it right the first time and you wont do it again.

Another thing, I agree with windowlickin. I had 2 of those amps and wish i still had them. Good amps and cheaper than a DD m3a.

Would ya know anything about batteries? My dry cell stinger battery is dead... I was wondering if I can use a portable battery charger to charge it back up and will it hold the charge
