WARNING ABOUT DOING BUSINESS w/ MOBILE ONE CAR AUDIO (please sticky!!)

OK Folks I just wanted to pass this information onto you all, I was unaware of this (until recently, unfortunately) but MOBILE ONE WILL NOT EXCHANGE, or REFUND your money on any purchases made in the store (even if the item is in an unused, and new condition).

I have confirmed this, and it appears that after being bought out my Audio Express USA they have changed their policy. Be very forewarned that any products purchased (no matter WHAT condition) WILL BE NON REFUNDABLE!!

Their items are also nevertheless extremely overpriced and will SCREW you that way too...

Just wanted everyone to be aware of this, and not to get shafted as I did.

Well..

It ended up being a 80$ battery terminal to replace my corroded one; Talk about price gouging.....Here is a link to the item on-line;

http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/LITBCMU1

I actually kind of have it resolved (They refused completely to refund my money, but would exchange it for this; http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/LITBCDSU1).

So basically they marked up the price 50/60$...MSRP I believe is 25$ or so..

I learned a bad lesson from this;

1) Never ever, ever, ever, ever, buy anything from Mobile One Car Audio again.

Apparently they're too worried (Excuse I got from them) from people/employees taking off with the goods so they won't refund anything (Also found out that this has always been their policy). So;

1) They're tired of people screwing them.
2) So they turn around and screw their customers by price gouging (What kind of sense is that??)

Needless to say I WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN, and I advise no one else to get screwed by them.

If your in Houston, take your business to Car Toys...

You should have shopped at Wal-Mart. The big one on HW6 (First Colony) sells Scorch battery terminals for $7.99 I didn't believe the price when I saw it but I checked the SKU and it matched.

car toys do nice istalls and good work. Moblie one IMO opinion is decent if u talk to them and negotiate the prices. They dont have any price tags for a reason. The $1 install is ok if its something u cant istall ur self or is a hassle. I got a premier components from them for around 180. I know i can get them online for around 150 or a little less but i hate installing compomnets especially when the tweeter in on the top of my dash by the windshield. So it all comes down to around the same price if i was to buy it and take it somewhere to get it put in. The only good thing was that i got it the same day all at once and not have to wait for mail and take it somewhere. I would prob go to car toys now since my homeboy is a manager at car toys.
about the refund or exhange i have no idea about that. I see ppl exchange stuff all the time at the moblie on on 1960.
