Want to upgrade speakers from stock, but have a few questions

Hey all

As the title says I want to upgrade my stock speakers in my 08 TSX. The stock system sounds very nice, but I want a little bit more low end. I don't want it to be overpowering though. I was thinking of upgrading the rear speakers, but I don't want them to overpower the fronts. Should I upgrade both at the same time? I like the sound of the factory tweeters in the dash. They're not tinny like so many others I've heard. But I'm concerned that if I upgrade the 6.5s in the door they're become useless. And what about the rear door speakers? I know they're the same as the front door and perform basically the same purpose for the back seat passengers as the front door speakers, but if I don't upgrade them will I notice it from the front seat?

I know that's a lot of questions, thanks for any help any of you can provide. Also, if anybody has any suggestions for speakers, I'm definitely open to them. Thanks!

A buddy of mine replaced all of the speakers inside his car (4 door jetta) with Alpine Type-S's and it sounds pretty good. It's not amazing, but it does sound good. If you're just looking for a pretty cheap upgrade, I'd do that... And if you're upgrading any speakers, upgrade all your speakers... I know it costs a little more, but at least then you have all matching speakers and everything...

Dump the rear speakers altogether, upgrade the front. Use a layer of Damplifier Pro on the doors, baffle the rear of the speaker, and use an MDF ring; you'll be right as rain.
