only reason is cause i wanna get a basslink but i dont want to have to turn down all the bass just to hear the words. im thinking about getting an amp and components for the fronts as well. do you know of any setup i can do with the basslink, but keeping the stock HU.

its odd that you are pushing the speakers to the limit of the head unit and still not having enough sound? are you driving with the windows down at 90? it just confuses me that no other owners have reported anything similar to this.

i would just buck up and get a real system if you already complain about the low volume levels a basslink isnt gunna cut it for you anyways...

i

Why is it that everytime someone comes to the owners web to ask a question of other owners they get a smartass comment like this ? If you don't know the answer why respond ? He did not report he just asked a simple question as a member.

Go to a different forum if you have such a beef with the way things are around here.. All I ever see you doing is bitching..

His response was fine.. If you saw things differently then so be it.. Why do you have to jump in?

I'm commenting about Bitching and here you go doing it. You are entitled to your comments as you want and so is anyone else. Grow up, you can't control where anyone goes on the WWW. I'll be staying right here. The guy was just asking a question.

In no way did I try to control the situation.. I said if you don't like things around here then leave.. I just don't understand why you stick your nose in everything.. He got his answer with the first response.. If it's not loud enough you'll need a aftermarket headunit and/or replace the speakers.. People joke around here, fvckin lighten up. If you want some Nazi controlled board go somewhere else.. I don't see the "poster" complaining.. Oh wait you're doing it for him.. Awfully nice of you..

Back on track.. If you were to find a restrictor on the radio.. You'd be in for alot of work. Pulling the radio out, taking apart the radio, there would be alot involved.. I would start searching to see if anyone has done this on the radios we have.. Example - The TL, possbily the Accord.. Alot of research/searching would be involved to see if anyone has attempted it.. I have not heard or seen anything since I've owned my CL-S.. Good luck..

UNCTYPE-S a question is a question. What better place to ask it than the owners web site. The Acura Dealer would not have been any help.

I would try a search on replacing the factory amp.. I'm sure people have done it in the past, that would be your best solution I think without replacing the HU.. But then you may have to replce the stock speakers if they blow..

Give me a F_ _ _ ing break. You're responding for Hobo. This is about the 10 time I've seen someone comment about how loud someone else should one should turn the radio up in one's own car.

UNCTYPE-S I thought that was the worst Volume BOSE system ever put in a car. I heard a 1989 Maxima with a BOSE that sounded 3 times better and had more volume. You can add a low cost aftermarket 4 channel amp to the system and keep the factory HU and speakers. That will up the output but I would not go over 35 wats a Ch on the amp.

LOL... You always think that because you're new that we all know each other and stick up for each other.. You're incorrect.. And I'm not speaking for Hobo.. Just relax enjoy the forum and take it easy.. You're all high strung..

Even if it was the 10th time you've seen it there's no need to take it all out on Hobo.. Just chill, you get all worked up over little things..

Jonesi it's cool, and you do the same. BTW I was posting the same recommendation you were at the same time. I just see things diffrent sometimes. I feel like if you can't help someone with their problem why make negitive comments about their thoughts or questions. Peace

Yea, but Hobo made the first response and suggestion.. He might have been a little sarcastic after the fact but it happens.. I'd rather have a forum where you can voice your opinion then a Nazi controlled one..

Yea I do also.. It's cool though, all in fun..

I know, I saw it was almost exact same thing at exact same time.. Great minds think alike and I guess clash every once in awhile.. lol
