voltage question
Ok, so i have a 06 tsx w/ nav. I'm using mercman's cable and a BALUM adapter provided by him. My amp, a pdx-1.1000 has an input voltage selector switch, with the two options being .1-1v and 1v-8v. Anyone know what the actual voltage at the amp would be? With the setting on .1v-1v the bass is it a bit "strong" lol (which might be correct) and with it on 1v-8v it seems a bit weak (but i could always pump up the gains if needed).
Just wondering what i should be using. Thanks in advance

its called a BALUN, as in BALanced to UNbalanced.
Voltage range...
The stock amp has a gain of roughly 10. with a 14V power supply rail, it would clip with 1.4V input. That means the closest voltage range to select is .1-1V. However, the stock radio could exceed your 1V limit slightly at very high volumes. at medium volumes, .1-1V is optimum. just turn down the bass a wee bit.
Have Fun!
